You can search for photography books covering a specific photographer or topic area by searching in our library catalog, e.g. for "street photography" or "dorothea lange photography" (without quotes). Searching the catalog will also allow you to find any ebooks we have in your area of interest.

Most photography books have call numbers that start with TR, for example:

These are temporarily located on Copley Lower Level in a section called "Pre-shelving." Map (A smaller number of TR books may be located in other areas, for example in our Oversize section (Camino Lower Level) or in our Reference Collection (Copley Main Level near the reference desk).)

If you would like to browse our print books, the call number subcategories for Photography are listed below. For example, books highlighting a particular photographer or photography works can be found under Applied photography (bolded) and will have call numbers starting with TR634 through TR835.
