Can USD alumni access library databases from off-campus?

Answer

Off campus access to most of our online databases is restricted to current USD students, faculty, and staff. However, alumni can access all of Copley library’s databases onsite and may access the databases listed below from off campus by logging into to their Alumni Association account here. If you do not have an Alumni Association account, you will need to create one. To create an Alumni Association account online click here.

Academic Search Alumni Edition

Academic Search Alumni Edition offers over 2,400 full-text journals from subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Law, Music, Psychology, and Religion and theology. It also offers access to video content from the Associated Press from 1930 to the present. It is updated monthly and contains over 67,000 videos that covers a wide array of topics.

Business Source Alumni Edition

Business Source Alumni Edition offers over 1200 full-text business magazines and journals, more than 640 peer-reviewed full-text business magazines and journals, and access to over 60,000 videos from the Associated Press. Topics include: Marketing, management, management information systems, production and operations management, accounting, finance, econometrics, and economics.

JSTOR

JSTOR is a non-profit service founded in 1995 and offers a digital library to a wide range of multi-disciplinary scholarly content, including more than 1,900 academic journals, 15,000 books, and 2 million primary source objects.  It is available to more than 10,000 institutions in more than 160 countries.
