Does the library have historic maps?

We have a small collection of loose maps and large atlases located in map shelving and map cabinets near the reference desk. Most of our loose maps are not searchable in the library catalog. Atlases are also shelved downstairs in the main book stacks primarily under call numbers G and GA.
Additional historic maps may be available in Special Collections. For maps or other historic materials specific to USD, please contact University Archives (see previous link for Special Collections).
San Diego Public Library also has a large map collection, especially Central in downtown.
