Under what conditions will Copley Library place items on physical reserve?

  1. The request to place materials on reserve is made by a member of the University’s faculty or staff.
  2. Materials are being used for instructional purposes during the semester in which they are placed on reserve.
  3. The faculty or staff making the request affirms that all materials to be placed on reserves were legally obtained.
  4. Copyright notice regarding Title 17 of the U.S. Code is prominently displayed wherever materials are accepted for placement on reserves.
